Question: | From last few days, I am experiencing anal bleeding although I don' t have constipation. I am very scared. Can it be cancerous? Please advice. |
Answer: | Anal bleeding can be cause of serious concern, so you always immediately go to the doctor for the exact treatment. Yes, in certain cases, these symptoms might be the indication of bowl cancer (colon or rectum). Recent surveys have shown that mostly people are very ignorant about bowl cancer.
Generally, if you are suffering from anal fissure or piles, anal bleeding occurs while you pass a stool. In this case, the color of blood is bright red and you will experience some anal pain also. Although this is not a very serious condition, you need to ensure it with your doctor.
If the color of the blood is dark red or if there are blood clots or it is mixed with lots of slime or feces, it will be an alarming condition for you. It could be due to some serious disease like colitis or dreaded cancer (rectum or colon). You will require a proper medication and treatment in that case. |
