Question: | Can you recommend a good coffee substitute? |
Answer: | There' s a wonderful array. My favorites are the bar-ley/chicory blends such as Yannoh, Caro Extra and Barleycup, and dandelion root ' coffee' - these make rich, tasty drinks and are great substitutes for anyone cutting out coffee entirely. You could also try rooibosch tea, a South African tea that comes closest to normal tea in taste and is good with milk, unlike most herbal varieties. Yogi Tea, available from healthfood shops and some supermarkets, has some great blends. Also look out for Teechino, a delicious variety that' s widely available in the US, but hard to find in the UK. |
