Question:My mother has the methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) virus, which is highly resistant to treatment. Can you recommend a supplement?
Answer:To create an environment in which this virus would find survival difficult, I suggest you buy some vitamin C in powdered form and mix lOg in 2 litres of half water, half diluted juice for her to drink throughout the day. She may experience loose bowels with this amount; if this is a problem, reduce the amount she drinks until this stops. She should also take a good high-strength multivitamin and mineral plus an antioxidant containing at least 2,250mcg (7,500iu) of vitamin A, 200mg (300iu) of vitamin E, lOOmg of B6, 20mg of zinc and lOOmcg of selenium. Cat' s claw tea and echinacea (10 drops three times a day) are also good immune boosters. She should do all this until she is better.
