Question: | My father and grandfather are bald. What chance do I have? |
Answer: | Provided you are his son and not his daughter, your chances of being bald are quite good, and if there is baldness on both sides of your family tree, you will almost certainly develop some degree of baldness.
Baldness is a sex-linked genetic condition. It is very rare in women, but passes through the female line to men in later generations.
