Teeth normally start to appear around five or six months, although some children cut a tooth as early as three months and some have even been born with teeth, while in others they do not appear until seven or eight months. By the time they are nine or ten months, most babies have both the top and bottom four front teeth. The molars appear around the age of one year and are likely to cause more discomfort since their larger, broader shape makes it difficult to push through the gum. |
