Symptoms of Trichomoniasis, Venereal In women, vaginal infection causes a foul-smelling, yellow/green, frothy discharge, and there may be mild itching or soreness around the outside of the vagina. In men, there are often minimal symptoms, or discomfort on
passing urine, often first thing in the morning. |
Tests for Trichomoniasis, Venereal Diagnosis can be confirmed by examining a swab taken from the vagina or urethra. |
Treatment for Trichomoniasis, Venereal Antibiotic tablets (eg. azithromycin) and/or vaginal cream. All sexual contacts need to be treated at the same time.
